We'd been to a few weddings before planning our own and
had always thought the most memorable were those that were more personalised
and included a bit of humour, delivered by a celebrant who clearly connected
with the couple and also with the crowd. So we were grateful when our friends
Madeleine and Matt suggested we speak with Rob. From the moment he stepped
inside our home we felt comfortable with him. He was laid back and informative,
had a good approach to explaining what needed to be done and left the door wide
open for creative possibilities. We didn't have to say anything to each other
once Rob had left our first meeting - he was going to marry us. His contact
with us leading up to the day was perfect, we felt at ease that we would have
the ceremony we wanted with some amazing suggestions from Rob to make it even
better. Our families and friends loved how Rob told the story of us at the
start of the ceremony and included why we had chosen to marry. We felt great
support from Rob on the day knowing when we got a bit nervous we could look to
him for a reassuring nod, a reminder to breathe and a smile to let us know it

Rob was exactly what we were looking for in a celebrant. We didn't want anyone who was overly "spiritual" or religious like a lot of celebrants; those who only do a standard format. We wanted someone who made our ceremony as unique as we are. He was warm, friendly, adaptable, down to earth and very funny - a really great person. Our ceremony was very memorable, with many friends and family members saying how our ceremony was the best they've witnessed & how brilliant our celebrant was! Rob was also the MC for our reception. He made the night flow extremely smoothly and dealt with any issues that came up - he took the stress out of the whole night. Rob, When we had our first meeting with you, we decided within minutes of speaking with you, that you HAD to be the person that would wed us. We are so grateful that we met you and chose you to be a part of our most special day. Immediately we both felt so comfortable with you. You made it clear that it was our day and that it was all about us.The ceremony was everything we could have wished for. From the beginning to the end, Rob helped plan our ceremony exactly how we wanted it...Your day, your way. He beautifully incorporated the legalities of the ceremony and engaged the entire crowd throughout. Family and friends commented afterwards saying how well coordinated and thought through our ceremony was directed by our celebrant. Since Rob was all we were looking for in a celebrant, why look any further? With his many talents, he continued on to also be the master of ceremonies and DJ at our reception. Needless to say that he easily juggled all the events of the day and was an essential part in making our wedding day the most memorable day of our lives.
